Fear the LORD, Nothing Else…
Are you inspired by anything I’ve said, my story or personality, my hope, peace, positivity, or optimism? Are you wanting those things for your life? Are you looking for hope that transcends your circumstances?
If you are inspired by any of the above, or drawn to anything about my story, please know that if there is anything redeemable or appealing about me, it has NOTHING to do with me and who I am…but it has EVERYTHING to do with my faith in Jesus and who I am in HIM. I can only hope to be a reflection of Jesus and his love in this life and world, and in him I have found the surest foundation, hope, peace, and purpose. If you’d like to know that peace, purpose, love, acceptance, and joy in your life, just believe, pray the prayer below, and take the next steps to live out that belief with intention for Jesus — it is the single most important thing you could ever do — JH
A Prayer for Salvation
Jesus Christ, my Lord, I admit I am a sinner. I desperately need and desire Your forgiveness. I accept Your death on the cross as the penalty for my sin, a penalty I could not pay on my own, and recognize that Your mercy, forgiveness, and grace is a gift You offer to me because of Your great love, not based on anything I have done or could do. Cleanse me today, and make me Your child. Assured by your resurrection, I long to secure my eternity with you. You are welcome in my life and everything I do. By faith I receive You, Jesus, into my heart as the Son of God and as Savior and Lord of my life. From now on, help me live for You, with You in control, with my eyes focused on You and Your will for my life, as a child of the ONLY living God, as a living example of one who believes in You in word and deed. I thank You for Your promise and that Your word NEVER returns to You void. You are Faithful and True, and my hope is in You.
I ask all this in the almighty name of Jesus, Amen

Until then, be blessed and be encouraged by the scripture below:
For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast.

He saved us, not because of works done by us in righteousness, but according to his own mercy, by the washing of regeneration and renewal of the Holy Spirit
Romans 10:9
Because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.
Acts 4:12
And there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.
John 14:6
Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me."
Acts 16:30-33
Then he brought them out and said, “Sirs, what must I do to be saved?” And they said, “Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved, you and your household.” And they spoke the word of the Lord to him and to all who were in his house. And he took them the same hour of the night and washed their wounds; and he was baptized at once, he and all his family.
